"In 1994, ProShot Golf introduced the ProShot Golf System: a revolutionary distance measuring and information system designed to provide yardage and playing tips to golfers via a cart-mounted computer screen. In 1995, the company negotiated a license to a patent for GPS applications on the golf course from Optimal Golf Solutions, LLP and acquired a product that provided a solution for applying GPS technology to the golf course from PagiSat, LLP. Also in 1995, ProShot Golf acquired certain assets of ProShot Golf Limited Partnership including a radio frequency distance measuring system, the U. S. Trademark for the name 'ProShot Golf,' certain radio frequency contracts and equipment and other assets along with certain of the limited partnership's liabilities.

ProShot designed the application of GPS technology, which gives accurate measurements of yardage on the golf course, distances to the pin, sand traps, water hazards, etc. In addition, the company has designed a course management system known as the 'RAMS' (Remote Asset Management System) clubhouse system that allows course operators to view the location of all carts - golfers, marshals, food and beverage and maintenance - in real time and provide a series of reports that enable the operations management to analyze the cart usage, pace of play and cart traffic.
