Best Tech Brands
Best Tech Brands is marketing Synergyn™ branded diesel and gasoline additives that are produced primarily from agricultural products. The additives were co-developed with NASA and, following testing to NASA protocols and approved by the Space Foundation as Certified Space Technology. Third-party dyno and on-road tests show 10-30+% mileage improvement increases. Our technology is proprietary--protected by patents, pending patents and trade secrets. No other fuel additives deliver mileage increases like this.
Synergyn consists of two components – a spray dispersing agent and an ignition (cetane) improver. An ignition improver alone only works on fuel that has already evaporated and can cause higher NOx emissions by starting up combustion earlier but not affecting the end point of combustion. The dispersing agent serves to rapidly evaporate the heavier ends of the fuel so that, together with the ignition improver, the fuel is combusted in a much shorter period of time.
The spray dispersing agent is a terpene that is harvested from agricultural waste. It is a pure hydrocarbon with no oxygen, nitrogen or metals. Its boiling point is inside the typical distillation range of diesel fuel. At ambient temperature, the terpene is stable. However, when contacted by the hot air heated by compression in the combustion chamber (up to 1200oF), the terpene instantly cracks into two moles of isoprene gas and an initial expansion of the fuel spray occurs increasing vaporization. Isoprene is highly explosive so a micro-explosion instantly occurs which causes rapid dispersion of the liquid fuel spray, speeding up the mixing of the bulk air charge (diesel fuel and air), accelerating the atomization and combustion of the fuel. This quicker heat release converts more of the fuel’s chemical energy into usable work.
